l start airing a ground-breaking climate change TV series on the experiences and personal stories of people whose lives have been touched by climate change. Years Of Living Dangerously is an 8-part series produced by the legendary storytellers and film-makers James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jerry Weintraub , along with three former 60 Minutes producers who have 18 Emmyawards between them.
Mt. Horeb has been selected for a special screening of the first episode, hosted by the Southwest Wisconsin Area Progressives (SWWAP) and the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters (WLVC). The event will take place in the Mount Horeb Community Center on Wednesday, April 16 at 7 pm.
The film will be followed by a discussion of the issue of climate change, hosted by Mt. Horeb resident Ella Schwierske. As the Climate Change Field Organizer for the WLCV, Ella is working to implement a public education and advocacy campaign to draw attention to elected officials who deny the effects of climate change and resist steps to address it.
