Here is the list of important dates for absentee voting for the April 1, 2014 election. To vote by absentee ballot, submit a request in writing to the Clerk of your municipality. To vote by absentee ballot in person in the Clerk’s office, please contact the Clerk of your municipality.
The dates established by law are the following:
March 27, 2014 – the last day to request an absentee ballot by mail, except for indefinitely confined and military electors.
March 28, 2014 - the last day to request an absentee ballot by mail from indefinitely confined and military electors.
March 17 – March 28, 2014, 5 p.m. – time period to vote by absentee ballot in person in the Clerk’s office.
April 1, 2014 –Hand-delivered absentee ballots must be delivered to the Clerk by 8 p.m. on election day.
April 4, 2014 – Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by election day and delivered by USPS to the Clerk by April 4.
